Our warehouse consultants will spend time on site to understand the current processes, layout, systems, equipment, and resourcing. We will walk through the processes in detail, for example goods in including new product procedures, put-away, pick-face replenishment, picking, packing, marshalling, despatch, returns, value added services, stock checking etc. Based on this we can assess the current warehouse’s storage capacity, throughput capacity and productivity performance. We will make recommendations as to how capacity and productivity can be improved, process changes, recommend investments, and provide supporting cost / benefit analysis.
What gets measured, gets done! We can review your current KPI’s and ensure they are both fit for purpose and achievable. Putting in place management systems to allow for automated or easy collation and review of KPI’s is key to any successful business.

We start by reviewing your current ways of working and benchmark against industry standards.

This will highlight areas for improvement and our team of experts will make recommendations for changes or fully costed investments to improve efficiency / service whilst reducing overheads.

The unique demands of e-commerce are very different to traditional retail channels and distribution operations must be specifically tailored to reflect this. We have a detailed knowledge and understanding of what is required to operate an efficient Distribution Centre, warehouse and picking/despatch operation. We experienced at working on standalone projects to look at a single area / function or working with racking and MHE suppliers.
